兵衛(wèi)森畫戟，燕寢凝清香。
海上風(fēng)雨至，逍遙池閣涼。
煩疴近消散，嘉賓復(fù)滿堂。
自慚居處崇，未睹斯民康。
理會(huì)是非遣，性達(dá)開跡忘。
鮮肥屬時(shí)禁，蔬果幸見嘗。
俯飲一杯酒，仰聆金玉章。
神歡體自輕，意欲凌風(fēng)翔。
吳中盛文史，群彥今汪洋。
方知大藩地，豈曰財(cái)賦強(qiáng)。

心里頭的煩躁苦悶將要消散、
嘉賓貴客重新聚集濟(jì)濟(jì)一堂。
自己慚愧所處地位太過高貴，
未能顧及平民百姓有無安康。
如能領(lǐng)悟事理是非自然消釋，
性情達(dá)觀世俗禮節(jié)就可淡忘。
鮮魚肥肉是夏令禁食的葷腥，
蔬菜水果希望大家盡管品嘗。
大家躬身飲下一杯醇清美酒，
抬頭聆聽各人吟誦金玉詩(shī)章。
精神愉快身體自然輕松舒暢，
心里真想臨風(fēng)飄舉奮力翱翔。
吳中不愧為文史鼎盛的所在，
文人學(xué)士簡(jiǎn)直多如大海汪洋。
現(xiàn)在才知道大州大郡的地方，
哪里是僅以財(cái)物豐阜而稱強(qiáng)？
【評(píng)析】：
??這是一首寫與文士宴集并抒發(fā)個(gè)人胸懷的詩(shī)。詩(shī)人自慚居處高崇，不見黎民疾
苦。全詩(shī)議論風(fēng)情人物，大有長(zhǎng)官胸襟。敘事，抒情，議論相間，結(jié)構(gòu)井然有序。
entertaining literary men in my
official residence on a rainy day
outside are insignia, shown in state;
but here are sweet incense-clouds, quietly ours.
wind and rain, coming in from sea,
have cooled this pavilion above the lake
and driven the feverish heat away
from where my eminent guests are gathered.
...ashamed though i am of my high position
while people lead unhappy lives,
let us reasonably banish care
and just be friends, enjoying nature.
though we have to go without fish and meat,
there are fruits and vegetables aplenty.
...we bow, we take our cups of wine,
we give our attention to beautiful poems.
when the mind is exalted, the body is lightened
and feels as if it could float in the wind.
...suzhou is famed as a centre of letters;
and all you writers, coming here,
prove that the name of a great land
is made by better things than wealth.
